Helping the community
At Postcode Anywhere we have a firm commitment to CSR and we believe in encouraging all the team to become involved in the schemes and programmes that we promote, as well as supporting them to make their own contribution to causes closest to their hearts.
As far back as 2004, we opened our office during the Christmas closedown to assist UNICEF to manage its Appeal for the Boxing Day Tsunami and we have provided our address validation free to numerous charities including Comic Relief, Oxfam, the Disasters Emergency Committee, Blue Peter Appeal, Children in Need and WWF.
We're also involved with local causes that involve us "getting our hands dirty", such as serving food and washing up at St Paul’s, our local Homeless Hostel and making a fantastic sensory garden for a neighbouring special needs school. We aim to help a diverse range of people with differing needs, including the elderly, those with disabilities, the vulnerable, the terminally sick, mentally ill and the socially disadvantaged.
Match-funding Policy
We have a match-funding policy which has seen Postcode Anywhere contribute many thousands of pounds to funds raised through employee activities.

- We helped to finance a DVD for the English Symphony Orchestra’s Dementia Appeal
- Supported Young Enterprise for the 2011/ 2012 academic school year, where we have provided business advisors, bursaries and technology awards to support its Company Programme

- A whole year spent washing up at St Paul’s
Back in May four brave, but clearly insane people took part in a charity skydive in aid of St. Richard’s Hospice which raised over £1600.
Andy Bennett, Christine Cameron Ed Nash and Tom Gurney took a collective leap of faith and jumped out of a plane over the tranquil Oxfordshire countryside. Between them they raised well in excess of £1,600.
Ed Nash and Tom Warsop also did well in two gruelling triathlon events also held in May where they raised over £500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Guy’s Greek Odyssey
Managing director Guy Mucklow suffered the Dallaglio Flintoff Cycle Slam in April. It proved to be one of the most enduring challenges of his life and Guy is now immortalised in Lycra by the Discovery Channel’s documentary. He cycled from Olympia in Greece on a gruelling five day journey to Athens travelling some 352 miles and climbing up to 11,673 feet.
In total Guy raised £3,000 for the Dallaglio Foundation.
