Free Technical Support

Our support is completely free - we'll even pay for the phone call! If you need help just drop us a line. You can also call us free on 0800 047 0493 during office hours. We're here in the UK and ready to help.

Intuitive services that don't require special training

The use of Postcode Anywhere is intuitive and does not require special training. However, we do have a support department that is available during office hours (08.45-17.30 GMT). We also monitor the service 24/7 and operate a shift system to answer enquiries at weekends.

Support is provided in respect of issues with the online Postcode Anywhere platform (rather than third party software issues or local installs). Support is available by email or telephone, and consists of logging the problem and then attempting to resolve the issue remotely where Postcode Anywhere reasonably can.

An extensive developer library

We do not charge for our technical support. We always provide a developer account and support to integrate our service. We also provide an extensive developer library, code samples etc. Most customers get the service up and running in a live environment in less than an hour. Usually developers are able to integrate the service without needing any support from us (although we’re available if they do need help).

Making data available anywhere

By building tools around the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF)®, we’ve become their fastest-growing reseller, leading the field in making address data available anywhere: in any application, on any platform and on any device.

Working with global systems integrators

Global systems integrators such as Siemens, Capgemini, Logica, AtoS and Steria all work with Postcode Anywhere because the products are good and the service is simple to integrate.Because Postcode Anywhere delivers cloud-based services, we are able to immediately write and publish web services to assist our customers with their integration. This is accomplished in one of two ways:

1. Private services are developed where a customer has specific needs that aren’t met by any existing services. These are hidden from other customers and enable a high degree of customisation.

2. Shadow services are built where a customer’s needs are very similar to an existing service but their requirements are more specific. Typically these are used where the existing implementation of a service does not meet their needs.

The most advanced and comprehensive API in the industry

For advanced users, we offer the most advanced API in the industry, making it easy for your IT team to integrate Postcode Anywhere into legacy systems and across your entire infrastructure. We've got several flavours of XML so you can pick your favourite technology.

To make it even easier, we offer code samples for every major environment. As well as SOAP and XML, we offer native support for JSON, Recordset XML (for VB6.0 and traditional developers) and even CSV and TSV. On top of that, Postcode Anywhere provides code samples and snippets for every major programming language and environment including C#, VB.NET, PHP, Cold Fusion, Oracle and TSQL.

Integrate, test and implement the service

More information is available at www.postcodeanywhere.co.uk/support/ or from our Support team on 0800 047 0493. We will provide you with a developer account so that you can integrate, test and implement the service before making any commitment to buy from us.

Lifetime support

Uniquely, Postcode Anywhere does not force upgrades on customers and will continue to support old versions of the software, free of charge, for as long as our customers want to use them, giving you peace of mind that the service will continue to work for as long as you need it.

Don't take our word for it...

We regularly hear from customers who have spared the time to put a friendly word our way. Here are some of the nicest quotes we've found in our inbox:

That is absolutely stunning. Works a treat. Can you please pass on my thanks to your developer. What an amazing service, yet again. - entryphone.co.uk
