With customers in Australia, North America and Europe, Postcode Anywhere services over 150 million web service requests a year (that’s almost 3,000 a minute!), so we don’t ever take the service “off-air”, even for planned maintenance or updates.

Our services operate on never-fail technology - which ensures total reliability and availability 24 hours a day.Service continuity is exceptionally important to us which is why we've taken considerable steps to ensure that Postcode Anywhere is always available:

• 2 completely autonomous data centres
• Load balanced servers in each data centre
• Data centres employ fully diverse routing and multiple carriers
• Automatic failover between servers and between data centres
• No single point of failure

All this means that even a catastrophic failure of a data centre can be tolerated and will not impact on the availability of Postcode Anywhere as traffic will simply reroute to the other data centre within 60 seconds.

In most cases, we are happy to make credit terms available on request and we can also arrange to automatically top-up your account when necessary. If you opt for an annual licence, we will contact you 60 days in advance to confirm that you wish to renew the service.

Most of our services are available on either a fixed annual fee or Pay per Click (PPC) basis, so you can choose the payment option that suits your budget and requirements.We are happy to complete documentation that is required by your Procurement Department to set us up as an approved supplier. Please contact us if you need us to do this for you.

You can buy from us online, by email, telephone or fax and we can take payment by credit card, BACS or cheque.If you’re using Pay per Click (PPC), then the service will alert you when you need to top up, or you can opt to have credits automatically added to your account and we’ll send you an electronic invoice.

If you have a user licence or raw data we will invoice you 60 days before the licence is due to expire so you’ve got plenty of time to process the payment. It’s our intention to ensure that the service works seamlessly for as long as you want it.

All updates to data provided by Postcode Anywhere are automatic and seamless. Your service never gets taken “off air” as new information is published. The advantage of taking information via the internet rather than via CD is that as soon as it is updated on our servers, it’s available to our customers.

We take daily updates to the Postcode Address File (PAF®) and they are implemented and available to our customers just two hours after being published by Royal Mail. There are around 5,000 changes every day.

Other datasets are updated on either a monthly or quarterly basis, dependent on how often the data provider makes them available.

All Postcode Anywhere services are developed, supported and hosted by the company, in the UK. Should you wish to evaluate our services, or to integrate them with your own applications, we offer free technical support and a development account to allow you to fully test our service. Use of this facility does not place you under any obligation to buy.

We are happy to work with your in-house team or a third-party employed by you. We also have excellent relationships with leading organisations such as Capgemini, Siemens, Logica and others.
