These demonstrations are designed to show you some examples of practical tools which calculate the length of a road journey between two points, the directions to take, and the CO₂ emissions and fuel consumption for the make and model of the car that you select.

The emissions calculator is a composite application using our standard Distance web service method together with a set of four web services that we’ve added using vehicle emissions data provided from www.data.gov.uk. It has a potential commercial use in the UK government's CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.
