These demonstrations are designed to show you some examples of practical tools which calculate the length of a road journey between two points, the directions to take, and the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption for the make and model of the car that you select.

The emissions calculator is a composite application using our standard Distance web service method together with a set of four web services that we’ve added using vehicle emissions data provided from www.data.gov.uk.

It has a potential commercial use in the UK government's CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme due to start in April 2010.
