Due to the web-based nature of the Postcode Anywhere Client software it is possible to alter what users can and can't do by logging in to your account on our website and clicking on the User Permissions button.

When users use the software a record of their username is kept so that the account holder can adminster users rights with regard to changing rules and settings.

First, choose the user whose rights you wish to amend...

... then edit their permissions. Their right to publish rules can be revoked, as can their right to change settings with the Client software. It's as simple as that!

Note: if the right to publish rules is revoked and the user already has rules published these rules will be converted to private rules only, i.e. not available to any other user.
